Once a seller has accepted a buyer’s offer for the property, the legal process starts. In summary, it involves the following stages:
Authority form - please read our Terms of business. Our fee for freehold sales is usually £750 plus VAT and expenses and for leasehold sales is usually £1,250 plus VAT and expenses. However, if we arrange your Home Information Pack for you, this will increase the cost accordingly. If the HIP is supplied by your agent or another supplier, we will reduce our fee to reflect the conveyancing work that we do not have to carry out as a result.

Purchases
Authority form - please read our Terms of business. Our fee for freehold purchases is usually £1,000 plus VAT and expenses and for leasehold purchases is usually £1,500 plus VAT and expenses. If the seller provides a comprehensive Home Information Pack, this will reduce the work we have to do and the searches we have to carry out, and therefore reduce our charges and expenses accordingly.
